International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is an event in which survivors of suicide loss come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through their shared experiences. This year, International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is Saturday, November 23, 2024. In 1999, Senator Harry Reid, who lost his father to suicide, introduced a resolution to the United States Senate, leading to the creation of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention honors Survivors on this day.
Please join us at the Putnam County Remembrance Garden on Saturday, November 23rd, from 12 to 2 p.m., 110 Old Route Six, Carmel, to remember our loved ones, and provide an opportunity for survivors to come together and support one another during the holiday season. A complimentary lunch will be provided in the conference room.
